So, what do you all think of Beyoncé’s “If I Was A Boy” video? Personally, I’m digging the video - it makes me like the song. It depicts the complexity of relationships as well as plays into the men are from mars, women are from venus stereotypes — albeit successfully. Most women could probably relate to Beyoncé’s “female-role” character at some point in their lives. Let’s home the boys are listening so our relationships could improve.

And I’m sure all the men out there are loving Beyoncé in the police officer outfit. (Lil Wayne’s Mrs. Officer lyrics quickly come to mind.) She looks great in anything.

Okay.. so I’m taking a mini-mental break from the Inauguration with a musical digression. I am so in love with the Beyoncé song, Diva. I get pumped up every time I hear it. “A diva is a female version of a hustler.” Wow. Great lyrics. So, I dedicate this song to all of my women friends, family members, associates, soon-to-be friends and tweeple who are working hard to make their dreams come true - like real divas should. This is our anthem! Check out the video.

According to HollywoodLife.net, Superstar Beyoncé recently released a statement saying, “I am so honored that I will be performing for President Obama and the First Lady. To sing At Last while they have their first dance is a dream come true.”

This statement about her Inauguration 2009 performance is all good except for one thing - one big thing. It was supposed to be a secret. The site says the Presidential Inaugural Committee had hoped the song would remain “classified” until the President and his wife stepped on the floor for their first dance on inauguration night. Yikes, talk about letting the cat out of the bag.

Beyoncé’s inability to keep this bit of news hush-hush may be a surprise to her fans. After all, she kept her wedding plans to rapper Jay-Z a secret for months. Come on Beyoncé, where’s the tight-lipped Sasha Fierce when you need her?

Grammy award-winning Justin Timberlake decided to show off his “Sexy Back-ness” in a skit with Beyoncé on Saturday Night Live. In the piece, Timberlake is one of Beyoncé’s back-up dancers for her music video, “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It).” Why men are in Beyoncé’s video about women, no one knows! Check it out.

Although I hate doing Beyoncé stories back to back, this one called for it.

So, speaking of Beyoncé… The Los Angeles Times reported on Friday, Nov. 7 that Beyonce wants to play superhero Wonder Woman. Apparently, she has had her fill of emotional, tearjerker movies and wants to take on the world of the fantastic.

Beyoncé tells LA Times Reporter/Blogger, Geoff Boucher:

“After doing these roles that were so emotional I was thinking  to myself, ‘OK, I need to be a superhero.’ Although, when you think about the psychology of the heroes in the films these days, they are still a lot of work, of course, and emotional. But there’s also an action element that I would enjoy.”

Well, we’ll see if she gets the part. According to the LA Times, Beyoncé has met with DC Comics and Warner Bros to stake her claim on the role, but there is no guarantee at the moment of a future Wonder Woman film.

As most of you know by now, Beyoncé is back! Her latest video, “Single Girl (Put a Ring On It),” is a true dance video. And Beyoncé, along with her two dancers, are working it out. Although I am not in love with the song (and I consider myself a fan), I think it’s one of those jams that grows on you! I’m betting on a remix with some hot rapper like Lil’ Wayne, Jay-Z or T-Pain (Mr. Collabo). Her album comes out on November 18th. Check it out!
