Going through this list was very useful because I realized all of the weird, offbeat things that I have done. Life definitely hasn’t been boring.
And, I think, more importantly, life isn’t about checking items off a list. It has to be about finding and fulfilling your greater purpose. You know, we all have to find the unique way that we can each be of service to humankind. I realize that what I’m saying may sound lofty or whatever. But we have to use our own hearts and inner voice to develop our own list of life experiences to make our individual lives worth living. And ultimately, isn’t that what counts!
And in order to keep the fun (and reflection) moving along, I figured I’d tag a couple of my blogger friends.
- Earned Relevance (a go-to for PR expertise)
- Que Jimenez (her handbags are a must have)
- Akasa Jewelry (whose jewelry is soo beautiful and spiritual too)
- YMIB (awesome place for women of color)
- Brownngirl (new friend from Twitter)
- HoneySoul (her music site is fantastic)
- The Raw Mocha Angel (my foodie inspiration)
I’d love to post or repost your answers to the list if you don’t have a blog. So, please comment away.
xxoo,
The Caramel Bella

this was so fun to read and find out more about you and what you’ve done in your life!
i can’t wait to do this myself…seems very reflecting..
and i whole-heartely agree with what you said life is about living the life that you want to live, not a checklist, but getting out of it…what’s important to you.
on another note…i can’t believe you had the chicken pox in high school…and that you were “every” girl scout…and your traveling experience sounds so cool…
now i can’t wait to share my list! thanks for inviting me!
